Challenges.

This month is starting out full of challenges, let me explain. First, my roommates, my boyfriend, and I made a four day wager that we would give up the worst foods in our diets. For me that involved not going to Noodles and Co. (I love the buttered noodles with parmesan chicken, mmm) and also no cheese fries (another weakness). So for the past couple of days I have been eating a variety of healthy foods, and you know it's not too bad. I gave up soda awhile ago, and although it was hard at first it gets easier everyday. Maybe that's how this will be.

My second challenge I (semi)explained in my first post. However, it is a familiar concept to most. A picture a day, of whatever, for a month. If I make it through the month I want to keep going to the 365 day photo challenge. It'll be hard (esp. around finals time), but I think it'll be rewarding to look back on when it's over.

I find challenges to be great. I am a very competitive person so when I have something to work towards it pushes me harder to do and be my best. I feel they also bring out a sense of personal pride in a person, whether upon completion or even at the start. Taking on a challenge can be an insurmountable task, with it can come struggles, but even more than that with it can come growth and a better sense of self-understanding.

Well I feel if I write anymore cheesy-ness, people will think this blog to be cliche, so I leave you with my first two pictures of the photo challenge.

So long for now,
Kelsie
